I was referred to the role by a recruiter, and that part went well. However, during the site interview, I noticed several things: The site didn’t seem well connected with corporate. It felt like they followed directives but operated independently, with only occasional visits from corporate. Other companies I’ve met with had a more unified approach. One of the people who was supposed to interview me skipped my scheduled interview to reprimand an employee. The person eventually showed up after my walkthrough but seemed dismissive. I also met someone who was doing various tasks, including EHS, and covering for others, and did not come across as someone who would be a collaborative partner.
