After interviewing with 7 people (3 rounds) HR reached out saying they were working on putting an Offer Letter together. Two days later HR informs me another interview with two additional people are required after an internal equity review. The following week I'm told an internal candidate came forward at the last minute when the position had been posted for more than 6 weeks.
