I applied for this graduate programme via their website submitting my CV and motivational/cover letter. After two days an HR member sent me an email saying that to be considered for this role I should have sent a CV and a motivational letter. (NO SENSE)
A few weeks later I received another email saying that the next process would have been a phone interview with a senior mechanical engineer (D.S.). The interview was really unprofessional, he was really fed up of doing it, huffing for the whole interview (15 mins).
At the end of the phone interview, I asked about the next step and his answer was: "we still have to define it, but there will be an assessment day". I've never seen an international company being so unprofessional.
Three weeks later I received an email saying "we have determined that the credentials of other candidates may better fit our needs at this time".
I, therefore, sent an email asking for more feedback. I am a recent graduate with an MSc in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction and for me, this email is not enough and won't help me to improve.
But of course from such a "great company" I didn't get any reply.
