Was told there would be 3 interviewers and there were 4. Last interviewer clearly didn’t want to be there at all and even mentioned that they have done “over one-hundred of these.” You know the interview is essentially over when they stop asking questions to gauge your skills/ qualifications and start asking generic ones that waste everyone’s time. The energy of the room was stifling, everyone seemed on edge, and the role play scenario didn’t provide enough context. Im not sure the sales managers could have pitched this thing. There’s a good reason why the expectations are so low for new hires in this role- they haven’t invested in the right people or managers. There were times when I was tempted to leave the interview because the questions were so flat and the interviewers were incredibly rude. I asked for feedback and no one had anything to say.
