I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPFF
Interview
Applied online and was quickly contacted to set up a phone interview. Interview focused on academic background and internship experiences. Nothing unexpected, felt like more of an opportunity to get a feel for me personally and my level of commitment to pursing this company individually (as opposed to just sending resumes to every possible company hiring at the moment). Soon after I was invited to interview in-person at their office, where I met with a a series of people at different levels within the company where we spoke at length about my background and their ongoing projects. The entire process was extremely positive and left me excited at the potential for working there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No unexpected questions or those meant to back you in a corner so to speak. I was not given the impression at all that the offer hinged on giving a particular right or wrong answer to any of their questions, but really whether your background and personality are a fit for the position and office. This is in extreme contrast to other interviews I have had where I felt like my potential could not be fully recognized by trying to trip me up with unreasonable questions.
