The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente in Aug 2017
Interview
Interview was a group setting through an employment agency. It consisted of about 40 people with about 4 conference tables in a room which amounts to 10 candidates per table. You start out with a brief introductions by the hiring managers and the operations manager. They then go into the details of the job. Then you're partnered with a person sitting next to you. (Don't think you're going to introduce your friend because they will alphabetize you by first name). Yes you will have to stand up and introduce your partner to the class. You will say their name, their work experience, and what excellent customer service means to them. I would focus heavily on their work experience because this seems to be the sales pitch of that person for the position. You then will get a break. Then you will return to your conference table. Small trivia icebreaker. Know history, important people, region/ locations, fun facts so you can win small prizes. Then back to the interview. The two hiring managers at each table have a total of 4 questions in which they will alternate in asking the candidates. You will only be asked ONE question which will be out of the 4 they have. It'll be totally random but you can hear the other questions being asked at other tables. Use the STAR technique that your agency probably provided. Answer to the best of your ability. Once everyone has answered, the interview is over and you're free to go. The staffing agency will reach out to you regarding their decision within the same or next business day.
