I applied online. I interviewed at Kate Spade New York (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
I showed up and was taken to the back of the store where I was sat down and then asked further questions. The woman interviewing me, store manager, was super nice and friendly which made the whole experience more relaxing. It didn't take very long, 30 minutes at the most and I left with a good feeling.
It was fine. Definitely suggest dressing the part and playing by their game. Very uppity and self important but not a hard interview. Just do your basic interview question prep and you'll be good. They brought me to the dressing room to talk.

Very friendly feel to the interview of the manager getting to know me and letting me know if I was successful then what would be expected of me. I got given a lot of personal choice questions to see how I would cope in social situations.

Decent and friendly interview , asked the usual questions expected for a retail position. It depends on who interviews you and how friendly they are. Very welcoming initially for interview and felt a good team spirit from the start.
