This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I was notified that I would be offered a job after my 2nd interview on the phone and then with an email outlining what to expect. What ensued was 5 weeks of being strung along during a merger and being told weekly that an offer was on it's way. During this process, I was tossed around between HR employees and given evasive information on what was happening with my offer. It was extremely disrespectful considering that I was offered the job after being transparent and letting the hiring manager know that I had another job offer in hand. Furthermore, the HR employee was entirely unempathetic to my situation and refused to acknowledge my offer despite the fact that I had multiple emails promising that my offer was on its way from approval. Clearly, this employee and work culture doesn't value individual employees.
