I had to go online to apply for the initial round. Next, I received an offer for a phone interview. Then, if they liked me, they offered me an in person interview with a higher manager. After this, I spoke to even another manager, and finally was offered a position.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kate Spade New York (Phoenix, AZ) in Dec 2012
Interview
Was called for an interview & interviewed the next day, she asked basic questions about me and my experience and then told me to get on the salesfloor for 15 minutes so she could watch how I interact with customers. I just winged it, greeted customers, tried to assist them (even though I knew where nothing was in the store!) & then she said ok thanks i'll get in touch. Three days later she called me and set up an interview with the DM, it was a phone interview that lasted about 20-25 minutes. The DM asked me all basic questions, not really any scenario questions, maybe a couple. Two days went by and then I was offered the job as long as the background check went through okay. An easy process...
