Started out with an application online and an online personality test. Next I received a confirmation email to let me know my application/resume was received. In a week I received a call to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was with a recruiter to discuss some of the qualifications, and to give me a chance to ask questions; lets you and the recruiter see whether or not you'd be a good fit. In another week, if you were determined to be a good fit, the recruiter will call to see if you can set up an in-person interview with the hiring manager. By that time, they'd narrowed down from 70 candidates to 4 candidates. I went to the interview as the only external candidate and was not chosen. However, I never knew that I wasn't chosen because I wasn't sent a courtesy email or letter. The in-person interview was a situational interview where you were given a question and expected to give an example of the situation you were in, how you handled it, and the outcome.
