I submitted my application online and was contacted by a member of the HR. I had a phone interview with HR, with standard screening questions. HR set the expectation up front that this particular position's hiring process may be a bit extended due to it's level, holidays, scheduling, etc. Next I had a phone interview with the hiring manager that asked specifically about my experience in the areas they were focusing on for the position. Later, the woman from HR contacted me about scheduling an in-person interview. She gave me instructions on how to arrange the travel, as I was flying in for the interview. The face-to-face interview was at their Headquarters. It was a panel interview with 4 panelists. Each panelist interacted with the role in different ways, which I felt was a good mix. The interview started with me giving a presentation on my qualifications, then I was asked a series of behavioral-type questions along with a few follow-up questions. It concluded with an opportunity for me to ask the panelists questions, of which I took avantage of the chance to get their perspectives on the role and the company. It was a very positive experience and I felt it was a well-run process.
