Completed a phone screen with recruiter, interview with hiring manager, 3 panel interviews (hour long each), another interview with hiring manager (hour long). Way too long of a hiring process. I did not get the position and am relieved. I began to have my doubts about the team after the panel interviews. Panel interviewers weren't prepared, clearly had no interest in being part of the interview process, and didn't even try to be engaging people to talk with. Low energy and no smiles. I felt like talking to brick walls for 3 hours straight. Interview process also dragged on for too long. Role has not been filled for 8+ months because they are trying to find a unicorn candidate which makes no sense for a mid level role like this.
