I was contacted by a member of the talent team via email after applying. The team member asked me to fill out a seven question pre-screening questionnaire (I will past the entire email below.) They then stated after they review my responses, that they would reach out for a 15-20 minute long interview. I spent about two hours of my personal time filling out the answers only to never hear back form the Kelloggs talent team - which I found strange considering I put some courteous and professional effort into the questionnaire response that they requested. Three weeks later after the ghost from the talent team member, I get an automated email from Kelloggs that the position has been filled. I decided to send an email to the original talent team member after the automated and canned notification from Kelloggs - and the talent team member responded and apologized for being disorganized and breadcrumbing . The excuse given from the talent team member was that they had "several hundred applicants to review in the US alone". For high level and senior level positions (or any position for that matter) - it is unacceptable to carrot dangle possible future talent with borderline homework assignments to simply then ghost and claim you are too busy. Giant red card and comes off like you are just zerg-intervieweing which doesn't leave too much to say about the ability to actually recognize talent. This type of mentality and lackluster care is a red card for any serious and talented applicant. I will post the interview questions below. My advice is that if Kelloggs reaches out to you with the same - that you put in the bare minimum effort in your responses and make them as cookie cutter as possible as they do not seem to value the applicants time or effort.
