I applied online, and about a week later I heard from the company. The HR associate informed me that the company was interested, and wanted me to come in for a interview. She also informed me that I had to create a presentation on the following: Educational Background Professional Experience Certifications Additional Qualifications Why did I choose the Kellogg Company Why the Department/Team Why this Role They told me to make a presentation that was 15-20 minutes. I ended up presenting in front of the Category Management team (6 members at once). After the presentation, they sat me down and asked me behavioral questions. “Name a time you handled 3 projects or more at once, and how did you handle it?” *Please answer all of their questions using the S.T.A.R Method (Situation, Task, Action, Result)* Do not be generic with your answer. They are looking for people who are good spirited, and are motivated for results. The team was great, the environment and the people were very friendly. They gave me the encouragement to be myself and tell my story. After the interview they gave me their cards and asked to keep in touch. They were very bad in regards to keeping me up-to-date on the status of my application. But a week and a half later, the Category Manager called me and made an offer of employment. Key Pointers: Please Be Yourself* (Kellogg is serious on attitude) Knowledgable of the History of the Company Knowledgable of the Role Be Creative with your presentation (This will make you or break you, so think out the box)
