I found the position by conducting online research. Exchanged emails with HR and had a standard phone interview with HR. Next step was to be a video conference interview the managing director. The video conference was one way as the managing director never turned on their video. I provided both HR and the managing director with both a strategic and tactical sales plan with specifics on how to approach and penetrate the market as this is Kinexons first foray into the US. The managing director said he wanted to meet face to face when I pressed him about next steps and if he thought I was a fit. He lied. If a companies managing director cannot be truthful during the interview process beware and also if the company schedules a video interview the professional thing is for both parties to be broadcasting video.
