I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at King Soopers (Englewood, CO) in Dec 2017
Interview
They sat me at Starbucks to wait for my interviewer. I waited for 45 minutes before going to the service desk to ask what was taking so long, the interviewer came out and apologized profusely. She was so busy. Anyways. She was very friendly and made me feel at ease. All of my nerves went away immediately. She asked me like 5 questions from a sheet of paper that looked like it came from a workbook for interviewing. She then took me on a tour of the deli and Starbucks-just in case I was wanting to work there. No thanks. Haha. She then offered me the job. Shook my hand and sent me home. All in about 15 minutes.
The worst part was the wait afterwards. I had to wait a good week or so before they called me back in, because the background check and employment verification took forever. I wish they would've done that before interviewing me.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at King Soopers (Denver, CO) in Jun 2021
Interview
Short and unclear. I was not sure how it went and what they wanted. I never heard back from them. I have a mild speech disability and it might impact their impression. I think they could have at least called and told me they were not offering the position to me.
Easy and straightforward questions. It went really quick and there were no tricky questions. Interviewees were very nice and told me when they would get back with me. Highly recommend this interview process as it was really good
