I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at King Soopers (Brighton, CO) in Jun 2009
Interview
The interview is pretty standard, its also when most of the lies occur. They ask a lot of "Tell me about a time when..." questions, and then proceed to tell you about how great it is to work there and so on. They tell you that you can get days off if you request them in advance and that if you are in school that you'll only be scheduled when you tell them you are available. Neither of these things are true.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Just lots of standard "tell me about a time when..." questions. Nothing very difficult.
They didn’t really care about much other than my schedule and if I could be there on time. For a first job, it’s a fine option, but don’t expect to be seen or to have opportunities to shine. If you will work as a cog in the wheel, that’s all they need to know.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at King Soopers (Littleton, CO) in Jan 2023
Interview
Worst job ever very abusive and racist and homophonic and transphobic and mean and rude against me and my fellow black people. The ceo gave me heart beat cards and said one day I might be able to be an executive but he was lying to me
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at King Soopers (Fort Collins, CO) in Jun 2021
Interview
Very easy behavioral questions, if you’ve ever worked in a retail situation, the questions are the same. Hired within the interview and a swab drug test was done. You will need to bring your ID.
