I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at King Soopers (Denver, CO) in Apr 2011
Interview
It was simple and typical of most interviews. It was east to get the interview after filling out an application online. The interviewer I remember was very friendly and didn't make you feel too nervous, was very personable. There was an on site oral drug test as well as a typing speed test and also an immigrant questionnaire in the office. There was also five days of new hire orientation for pharmacy technicians where you have to go into the central corporate office and practice how to help customers as well as how to bill insurance. I would say that the training they provided did not really prepare you for what it's really like. Other than that, the people were friendly through the whole process.

Interview
group interview. fairly easy. it was not a one to one interview like i expected, but a group interview, and we basically did games in groups of twos to answer questions. and we had to answer questions individually in front of all the managers and all the other candidates about previous job experiences.
