round 1) pre-recorded screening --> round 2) 1 hr interview with panel (different organization dimension - supply chain, customer exp..)--> round 3) Final round with the vertical matches mostly with candidate , then team finally takes decision "yes/no". Most bizarre part is they have reached me out two times in the past - 2018- around summer time and again in December 2020, and in both times they sounded like a very disorganized and indecisive. 2018- talent acquisition reached out and had screening-> had second round interview and team came back to me saying hiring manager is on summer vacation so we dont know when she will take that decision or ask for another interview, so I passed on it . 2020- Pre-screening happened in December and I got call for second round with 4/5 interviewer (with different functional verticals) in mid Jan-2021 and got feedback asking for final round interview, that became joke again. All the verticals couldn't figure it out which team has place for the Sr manager and so no answer , and I reached out couple of Sr leaders at Kroger through professional networking as they posted open positions, and they were really helpful to nudge the hiring process, and hence I got a call again by end of March asking for final interview date availability and again I waited , and finally they got back to by April first week saying they want to pass it this moment. I am posting it for all candidates who are really motivated to work for a company who is growing so fast and want to be part of the journey , and the sad story is the organization doesn't encourage real talent, who has no strong network within company but has so much to offer, to come onboard and leverage their relevant experience and bring out of the box ideas.
