Interview
Group interview with a screening of some promotional materials for working at Kroger. Then we were separated after filling out initial paperwork for hiring. I was place with one of the assistant managers from a nearby store to interview with. There were multiple managers from nearby stores as this was for a new marketplace store.
The interviewer asked me simple question about my work history, education history and any conflicts I may have had coming up. He explained the openings available at the licensed Starbucks store in the new Kroger store. I signed up for 3 preferences in bakery/deli, produce and Starbucks.
The first round ended with a mouth swab drug test.
The second round discussed pay, union benefits and departmental policies. We filled out the rest of the new hire packets then. And signed up for training days.
