I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kumon (Columbia, MD) in Jan 2016
Interview
I couldn't find an online application, so I simply emailed the Kumon Instructor expressing interest and sending a resume. She emailed me back within a day, probably because I am an English major and Math minor in college and have teaching experience. I had a face-to-face interview at the Kumon Center the next week. She mostly asked everything I had already said in my resume (I got the feeling she didn't read it), and at the end, she immediately hired me. We discussed which class days I could work on and negotiated a salary, but I could tell she was unwilling to go above her initial suggestion of $12 an hour. I started working 2 weeks afterwards.

As a college student, are you able to commit to working at Kumon at least one day a week?
No real interview process, easy to get through. I just contacted the manager of the Kumon I worked at, and I got the job in a couple days. Great for high school students.
Very straightforward and easy, went over previous jobs/positions but does not need to be relevant. Just need to elaborate why you want this position. There was not much needed to get this role
The interview process was not difficult at all. They asked very easy and basic questions that were not difficult to answer. I was basically hired on the spot, no stress at all.
