I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Latch (New York, NY) in Aug 2019
Interview
Very unprofessional, recruiting coordinator rescheduled call 5 minutes before the call. She had no interest in listening to what I had to say and she kept repeating herself saying "as I said before" very condescending. I'm very glad things didn't get past that interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Latch in Jan 2022
Interview
The interview process went really well. I felt a connection and fell in love with LATCH. Everybody was lovely and kind and relatable. Originally, upon interviewing, I made it to the final round and they chose another candidate. However, I kept in touch with the hiring manager and come January, they said a position may be opening me up. They had one meeting with me and presented me all the benefits, salary, gave a verbal offer and then nothing. I kept having to pull teeth and ask when the formal offer was coming, they kept saying it needed to get approved yadda yadda. This went on for about a month. A month of me turning down job offers because they kept ensuring me "an offer was coming, not to worry, and I have a home at LATCH". I finally asked if me reaching out was getting repetitive or if I should sit and expect them to reach out when they hear back on approval. She said she'd reach out to me as soon as she gets approval and not to worry...then....nothing. Ghosted. I didn't bother reaching out again, they never reached out to me. Moved on and got another job. Horrible to treat a candidate like that, making them feel like they are begging for the job over and over. I came to this platform to leave this review in hopes they take this into consideration for other candidates and I see on the reviews they laid off 130+ people. I'm sure that has something to do to it but wish they were more open and honest about it so I wasn't turning down offers for nothing.
