I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Lime in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview process was long - and so many steps, just for an entry level role paying between 90K to 110k based on experience.
The whole process took 3 months.
First interview was a zoom screen with Recruiter, Melissa from the US. She was great, correspondence throughout the entire process was succinct and I knew what to expect and when I could expect to hear from her next.
Progressed through to hiring manager screen,
Via zoom, more casual - good vibe. Quick turn around informed I was selected to progress to case study.
Interview 3 - case study, very difficult and broad case study. Spent hours on this and researching the company and its values. Was nervous in the zoom as it was my first online presentation - felt like there wasn’t any understanding from the team. I felt case study was solid. Interview consisted of 3 x team members. Hiring manager, comms and ops manager.
An informal meeting of coffee was offered by hiring manager. Met them for coffee and felt more like a friend vibe. It was weird.
A long wait between correspondence- was informed I progressed to round 4 - this was with another counterpart in US. Adapted to Timezone difference to meet with them early, didn’t seem interested in the meeting.
Another 3 weeks to find out whether I would make it to final round, received an email stating an offer and was made to another candidate who had more experience and could present under pressure.
Throughout the process it was encouraged to send a follow up email to interview panels, I did so with no acknowledgement.
A week later, job has been re advertised. I reached out to the recruiter to find out more. They were still looking for someone, I was told they did not want to progress with my candidacy - I asked for further feedback. I apparently didn’t meet the teams expectations in the case study.
I would like to know why I was progressed to the second last round if this was the case?!
