Had a phone interview with the recruiter, which was largely recruiter telling me about the Lime story. Scheduled a video interview with the General Counsel. Stayed home from work to take the interview. About 10 mins in to the scheduled interview time, General Counsel still has not shown up. I contact the recruiter, who says he will track her down. 25 mins after the interview was set to start (5 mins after it was set to end), recruiter emails to tell me she was in a meeting with their COO. In today's time, where we have text, email, phone, etc. to contact someone to tell them you are running late and/or need to reschedule, there is no excuse (other than a bona fide emergency (not just a corporate issue)) for the lack of timely communication. Indicates lack of respect for the interviewee's time and interviewee and complete lack of organization. I declined the request to reschedule.
