      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Longroad Energy

      Interview

I did some research before interviewing and found that the asset management team was very heavily male. I was told about there being female support groups at the company as a part of DEI efforts so it was strange to me that the asset management team only had 1 woman. I did more research on Linkedin and found that 3 female directors all left the team in the last 2 years, which is a lot for such a small team. I also noticed that none of the women who left were ever promoted at Longroad. In fact all the promotions on the team I could find were given to white men, in some cases with less experience than the women who left. I did not continue the interview process. It's clear their DEI efforts are performative and they don't actually care about gender equity in the workplace
