I was invited for the first-round interview, where I discussed the tools, technologies, and how my background aligns with the role. The second round was a panel interview led by the Head of Department, the Supply Chain Manager, and another team member. The experience was intense but insightful. I was asked a wide range of questions, and it was encouraging when one of the interviewers remarked that I seemed to know more about aircraft than they did.
At one point, the interview became more rigorous, with detailed scrutiny of my resume, including specific percentages mentioned in my accomplishments. I addressed each question with clarity and confidence. When asked about my interest in supply chain and my understanding of technical domains like material engineering, I explained how my cross-functional experiences and aviation passion connect to this role.
While two members remained mostly silent during the session, the manager later asked about the tools relevant to the position. I shared examples of how I had delivered impactful projects using those technologies. Despite the challenging tone, I remained composed and engaged throughout, even when the HoD began cross-questioning. Interestingly, when I asked a question about Airbus, she appeared less informed, which may have influenced their decision.
Overall, it was a valuable experience. I maintained professionalism, demonstrated resilience under pressure, and stood firm in my passion for aviation and my qualifications for the role.
