I applied through college or university. I interviewed at M&T Bank (Buffalo, NY)
Interview
First on campus round, basic "tell me about yourself" question. Asked about resume for entirety of 30 minutes. Invited to final round, was asked to choose 2 departments of interest. Ended up only interviewing with one of them, was accepted, worked in Buffalo for 10 weeks during the summer.

Question 1
How would we determine the characteristics of bad loans, given that there is such a small percentage of bad loans? (bad loans are ones that default)
I applied through college or university. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at M&T Bank (Buffalo, NY) in Mar 2015
Interview
It was a very friendly interview with 4 different directors and a lunch with a former program graduate. They ask mostly fit/behavioral questions, so you really need to know your resume well and be able to tell your story. You can tell that each director loves their job, and as long as you convey your passion you should be fine.

Interview
I was contacted though on-campus recruiting and had an initial interview on campus. Then, after about 1 week I was invited to interview in Buffalo. I was offered my choice of department but has not given my top choice. I went to Buffalo where I had 6 total interviews including lunch and an 'interview' with HR. Everyone was extremely nice but I could not help but get the vibe that the job/company was a dead-end in a ghost like city. Frankly, I was glad to leave the company and city at the end of the day.

Question 1
Very basic behavioral questions (some of the interviews had NO questions for me and wanted me to ask them 30 minutes worth of questions). Why M&T and Why Buffalo are important.

Interview
The first round was an on campus interview with a local branch manager. If they like you, they send you onto the next round for an on-site in-person interview with 3 senior managers and 1 junior MDP graduate who will take you out to lunch. I have a feeling that lunch is actually also an interview. Everyone is very friendly, and Buffalo was an easy place to navigate, although seemingly very sparsely populated.
