Interview
I received a message from a recruiter on my college's job site. I responded and applied that same night. I heard back within two weeks and interviewed within a week at my school. The interview was 30 minutes long and the interviewer chatted about M&T Bank for at least 10 minutes. I chatted about myself for the other 10 minutes, and then we spoke about the jobs I was interested in within the program.
The Standard Behavioral/Experience Questions. Want to see you’re involved and motivated on campus. Study up on your resume and you will be okay. GPA of 3.0 at minimum for most positions. Rotation of experience.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at M&T Bank (Buffalo, NY)
Interview
Literally a terrible interview process. Applied online and was emailed by a recruiter there to set up an interview. Literally the most uninterested employee who seemed so mad. Asked zero relevant questions to the job, and halfway through realized she was asking me questions for a different role. It’s all behavioral and situational stuff but just a terrible interview, recruiter obviously didn’t want to be there.

First round video interview was similar to other bank positions. Not too challenging. First round was with recruiter and rounds to follow are with team members and other senior managers.
