Started with a phone call to me from a consulting company, then a brief call from the hiring manager to introduce himself and setup an in-person interview at his office. We met for about an hour. It seemed positive, but I was given the feedback that I was too much of a manager, and the the process ended with no offer. My skills were clearly described on my resume, so I thought this was a bit odd, given the fact that they reached out to me. I would have probably accepted the position if the compensation package was comparable or close to my current situation as I was seeking growth opportunities that this position would afford me.
