In the recruitment process I had encountered some narcissistic and elitist people, and I think that reflects a lot on the company culture. I made it to the final round interview and throughout the previous recruitment stages, I was told I had a very outstanding application (had to go through CV application, online testing, phone interview and a first-round face to face interview). In the final round interview, the interviewers were planting words in my mouth and turned every answer I gave into something negative, accusing me of having poor personality traits for no reason. I kept my professionalism but I left the interview feeling belittled and despised. A friend of mine interviewed at a different department had a similar experience because she wasn't from one of the elite Sydney unis and her interviewers were. Really professional and unbiased (not).
