I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Macquarie Group in Sep 2010
Interview
The first round interview was relatively easy, and the interviewer was very friendly. He did ask some case interview questions such as 'How many rounds of golf are played in the US each year?'. I made it to the second round of the process and had to take a psychometric/skills test. The test wasn't very difficult but I was ultimately not selected to go through to the next round.
