Interview
First interview took place on campus, consisted of two separate interviews with managers of stores from around the state. One interview was behavioral, another was more traditional.
Second round of interviews took place in regional offices. Macy's flew candidates in and put them up in a hotel overnight. Two-day process involving individual assessments, group case studies and another 2 interviews (behavioral and traditional).
Interviewers and leaders of the On-Site event emphasized that it was not a competition between peers, but more a two-way street assessing if you were the right fit for the company, and also if the company was the right fit for you.
Received an offer over the phone ~6 weeks after the interview process.
