The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Madison Square Garden in Dec 2011
Interview
They initially called me after finding my resume on Monster.com. I went in for an interview at their offices at 2 Penn Plaza. My first interview was with a coordinator. I then had 2 phone interviews with 2 higher up staff members. Finally, I interviewed 1 on 1 in person with the VP of the department.
The interviews went very smoothly. They were all nice people and wanted to help you succeed. I don't have anything negative to say about the process.
The office (16th floor) seemed like a nice, mostly casual place to work. No stuffy suits here. People in nice jeans even!
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
There are 2 kinds of organizations: ones that train their employees and ones that pay more for pre-trained employees. Do you have any idea of which you'd like to work for?
The interview went very well - however, I did not hear back with my decline from the program for months, and only after I began reaching out again to the hiring managers for further word. This was after my interviewer very casually mentioned multiple times that I would be going on to the next round. Very weird process, and did not feel as professional as it could have.
