The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Madison Square Garden (New York, NY) in Feb 2011
Interview
Met with member of HR and then was fowarded along to marketing personnel who I would eventually be working for. The interviews consisted of basic interview questions followed up by quesitons that were more specific to the marketing position i was interviewing for.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Madison Square Garden (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied online. Received a call a week later for screening. Attended a mass interview. Mass interviews can be stressful sometimes, there are many qualified candidates that show up. In this particular case I noticed at least 25+. We all sat in a board room staring at each other until our names were called for our designated dept. interview. Some qualify for as little as 1 dept. some for as many as 6 or 7. That being said it is comforting to know that you could have many chances to impress different facets of the marketing department. They all have different needs and most are bound to fit into one. After my first interview I realized that they are pretty laid back. no serious cookie cutter questions. Especially for the hands on depts. Mid way my stress level went from 7 out of 10 to literally 2. tips: be confident. either flaunt research ability, graphics acumen(photoshop etc.), final cut pro experience(guaranteed winner), web/SEO know how. Worst case if you're not strong in any of that stuff at least know some sports.
