Had the initial screening call. Was pleasant, professional and excellent throughout until the end. At the end the interviewer said I was through to the next round and to await a call from the hiring manager within the week (screening was done on Monday) before explaining the process and steps, salary and notice period. I found out after mailing the following week that they had moved on with another candidate. Extremely unprofessional and disheartening to say I had progressed and to have never had the chance. Will never apply for a position with Marketstar if this is how they conduct the hiring. Their client (a market leading CRM company) should be made aware that they are associated with this process.

Had a phone interview with a screener who did not seem to know much about the position. Follow up interview with director went well and an additional interview was promised with a VP and I was asked if I were able to attend a training meeting as early as the next week. This interview never materialized and I was told three weeks later that a new candidate pool was being developed.
