Interview
A recruiter reached out roughly a month after I applied to schedule a phone call. The recruiter was late for 13 minutes. It seemed that the recruiter not interested in having a real *conversation* with me, and was eager to go through the list of scripted screening questions and document my responses. I kindly asked her to clarify one of the questions and she refused by saying that "as the right candidate for this role, you would be expected to understand" and commented "why is this conversation so hard." (I asked a friend who is a Sr Mgr in Comp the same questions just to check if I was the only one confused by the question and he also asked me to further clarify.) It was a very impersonal phone call and I withdrew later on the same day.

Question 1
Multiples questions in the application (not sure why they were asked again during a phone screen again) and commonly-asked questions: sponsorship, comp expectation, years of relevant experience, sponsorship, compensation practices (note that what they were truly looking for was your experience re: various compensation fields/plans/components e.g. exec comp, base, bonus, equity, sales comp etc.), career aspirations.
