I found the opportunity on LinkedIn through an old college classmate (now contract recruiter). The overall interview process is similar to most: I started with a phone screen, chatted with the hiring manager, came on-site for three 1-hour functional interviews, followed by a mid-week phone call with a recruiter, and then a final challenge. The challenge was the most unique component of the entire process and was meant to test whether I could perform the job I was being interviewed for. My specific challenge included a series of questions with the ask that I formulate a response and return to Medallia to present my solution. My specific challenge required a little bit of external research, a little bit of storytelling, and a little bit of slide building. Challenges vary by role. I received an offer after presenting my solution to the challenge. From the first on-site interview to signing the offer, the process took 1 1/2 weeks. Due to scheduling challenges on my end, there was a couple week gap between my initial chat with the hiring manager and the on-site interview. The team moved quickly and communicated well throughout the interview process.
