Brief phone interview with the manager of the program I was applying for. Invited me for an onsite during the call. Came onsite and interviewed with the director, manager as well as 3 current employees and hr. They were very blunt in the fact that this job is not for everyone, you're not going to understand what's going on for the first couple of months, and that this is a desk job where you are going to be starting at a screen. When pulled into my one off with the hr lady, we went over benefits and anything else to take inconsideration. It was as if she was waiting for me to spill some information that she could then later hold over me. She said i would hear back on either Friday or Monday regarding their decision because they had a few interviews left. When leaving they discussed opportunities within the company and where I would be a best fit. Upon Monday I had yet to hear anything. On Tuesday I sent an email inquiring about timelines to which I received an email that they were meeting the next week unlike she had stated during the interview. On Friday I received a very generic rejection email. Overall I am very disappointed with the process of the post interview process.
