The process was very good up until the actual interview. The telephone interviews had gone very well and things were looking positive. On the day of the interview the hiring manager decided last minute to hold the interview in their office instead of a private meeting room meaning I had to walk through the office and during the interview I could be seen through the glass. It’s a small industry and I know others that work for the company that also know people at my current place. This really put me off. In addition the manager wasn’t very welcoming and the heat was cranked up in the office. As a result I have a bad interview and they didn’t even bother to follow up with a call or feedback!
