Mercy Health Remote Medical Coder interview questions

Absolutely, the most unprofessional HR staff. I applied online holding 3 relevant certs. Over 6 weeks later, I received an email asking 3 dates/times I am available for a phone interview, for that week, what is the best phone number, and oh what are your salary requirements. Further states once responses are recieved they will notify me of date and time of phone interview. I respond immediately and then I receive absolutely nothing in return... not a thank you, not a date/time for a chance to even speak to someone about the position and my qualifications...nothing. Meanwhile, they continue to post and repost the coding jobs. So on the off chance that they didnt receive my email, I reach out again. I immediately am told my salary is "close" but a bit higher, would I still be interested. I respond stating that I look at a total package... pay, all benefits, etc so YES I was still interested in learning more about the position, hospital, benefits.... I then again hear nothing yet they keep posting coding jobs. After reading the reviews, I am thankful.... sounds like they are understaffed, underpaid, and HR is clearly not interested in trying to recruit qualified, certified candidates or engaging in a more personal form of communication beyond email.... My advice, try calling and talking to potential candidates, as not everything can or should be discussed on email. Human communication/interaction can be beneficial.
