Meridian Cooperative interview questions

It was normal. Lots of good information regarding the position. Good discussion of what the role consist of and expectations for the role. Mentioned the extensive travel but did not make clear that travel is about 85-90%. There is no consideration for employees who travel as they are gone anywhere from 1 week to 8 weeks at one time. This was not make clear in the interview.

First there was a phone interview with the hiring manager and part of the team. It was very peculiar because the main thing every wanted to talk about was how other technical writers have been very pushy about the business processes there and they just can't have these rigid sticklers for a certain standards. After assuring them that I would never walk in and start arguing over how things should be done there, you would think that would be it on the topic. But they kept bringing it up again and again. The face to face interview was pretty much the same. The hiring manager, who exudes enough negative energy to make one immediately want to run out of the place, finally decided I wouldn't be able to adjust back to commuting after working at home yhe past year or so. Okay, fine with me. Many bad vibes.
