Applied via their careers website, & received an email invite to a 1st interview. Was a generic 'tell us about your experience' interview & then some role specific questions. A few days later I was called & asked to a 2nd interview. I had to prepare a presentation on 'How I would improve their Mystery Shop' score. This I did + also visited one of the stores in question. It was a disaster, with 2 staff on duty being over-run with dozens of tourists looking to spend money. I brought this into my presentation & this probably contributed to my being unsuccessful. Truth hurts... I found it odd that I was asked to prepare a presentation but I had to ask for a copy of the actual reports. How else would you know where the issues lie? Lots of discussion around staffing & how to increase sales with better staff cover & scheduling, however I got the impression everything is controlled by corporate & thinking for yourself was not on the agenda. Interview process was simple enough & everyone friendly, however I get the impression of little organisation & salary on offer was poor for the role & location.
