I was given two tasks and presented them in person at the London office. However, neither the recruiter nor the hiring manager were in the office. I arrived 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled meeting and then wasted 20 minutes getting approval for the meeting room and setting up for the screening call. It was quite odd, as the job description didn't really reflect the job expectations from the hiring manager. I left feeling confused about what the job was truly going to be. I think the hiring manager was looking for inspiration rather than a suitable candidate. Ultimately, I received a rejection via a phone call from a recruiter rather than a formal email.
