I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Meso Scale Diagnostics in Sep 2021
Interview
Several interviews with various departmental heads, prior to a panel interview. Each interview was virtual given the pandemic, and provided a good opportunity to meet the team. Great company, was just not a fit for me currently.
This was the longest, most thorough interview process I have ever gone through: But the people I interacted with were all very positive, welcoming, and insightful into the position I was seeking.
The interview consisted of (in order):
1. Written Screen-er questions sent through recruiter
2. Phone interview with potential direct supervisor
3. Phone interview with (2)'s supervisor
4. Giving a 1 hour (including questions) webinar to future potential team: topic of your choice.
5. two additional peer-level informational interviews via phone
6. Travelling to Headquarters for in person interviews with (3), a senior person at the company, and an HR representative.
7. Informal salary negotiations
8. Receipt of offer letter and acceptance
Steps 1-4 took about four weeks, steps 4-7 took another four weeks, and step 8 took another three-four weeks.
