I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
Applied through referral. Contacted by recruiter to fill up a survey about what job I am looking for, my work status in US etc. After filling up the survey, I haven't been followed up. Then when I followed up, I found that they are no more interested in going further with my application without any feedback. What an unprofessional act. I later found out that all process was automated and every single email that I received from the recruiter was an automated message.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (London, England) in Apr 2017
Interview
It was clean and concise. First HR interview, two 45 min technical interviews, and a follow up interview. The two 45 minute interviews were comprised of a portfolio review and a app critique. The interviewers were very nice, and we had more of a constructive conversation than an interview.
I ended up not getting the offer because of my lack of visual design experience. It was very reasonable, and I am prepared for next time.
