I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Barcelona) in Aug 2022
Interview
Good think about Meta is they provide you with a lot of good material to prepare (maybe too much). At this point you probably know how is the interview process like. Try to connect with some employees before the interviews (this is provided by Meta) and ask them questions. Get people from different departments as yours, to get a wider idea how is the culture and how they work. Try not o allocate more than 2 interviews in the same day and ideally ask for PTO during the interviews if you are currently working.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There's a NDA with Meta, so can't be specific. The coding interview is not difficult if you know the basics. Just be calm. For the networking, they ask for specifics. How do you use this command, what does this output mean etc. One of the most underrated interviews is the behavioural one: be prepared, think about useful examples beforehand. The design one is an open ended conversation and can be challenging. Try to think out of the box and don't be scared of being wrong. The Systems interview again goes really deep into technical details. They basically test the end of your knowledge. If you don't know something, just say so.
