I applied online. I interviewed at Metromile in Mar 2021
Interview
1. Round with hiring manager
2. Technical round with Senior team member
3. Onsite (5 rounds with team member)
4. Recruiter reached out with an offer.
Overall it was a good experience
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Metromile (Boston, MA) in Jun 2021
Interview
1. HR call
2. Technical phone screening with senior manager. Essentially just questions of resume and past experience but was a little difficult
3. Technical live coding with SWE (medium LC)
4. Four more technical live coding with SWE's. (1 medium LC and 3 easy LC)
5. HR round
6. Offer
The interview process at Metro was pretty fun. I had a great conversation with almost every one of my interviewers. The coding questions were not too hard either. Basic string manipulation/hashmap/linkedlist kinds of questions. No BST or DP or anything like that.
I interviewed at MM in June '21.
Contacted by the tech recruiter and he scheduled a phone call with me but never showed up. I waited there for 30 mins and sent him an email and never got replied. Very unprofessional!
