I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Michaels (Miami, FL) in Aug 2014
Interview
It took me at least 5 days to get hired. I applied online and the day after, I was offered an interview with the assistant manager. Then asked again to speak with the general manager, and 2 days later I was hired. The application itself wasn't hard to answer. I felt comfortable speaking with the assistant manager (being my first ever job), I felt welcomed and he was not intimidating at all. The general manager wasn't either. I was a bit more nervous with him as he was a wee bit intimidating but stuck with a positive attitude and welcoming behavior.

Question 1
What are you 2 favorite stores? Compare the customer service between both of them.
Just asked me my availability, why I want to work here, and about myself. It was super chill and the manager was nice too. Went in for a day and got shown to the backroom and it was a 10 minute experience. Afterwards they showed me around the store.

Interview
Basic interview processes with questions like how do you work with a team, can you be flexible in your work, the hours you can work, your learnability, a time you dealt with an unhappy customer
The interview was very relaxed but was in a professional setting. Nice managers and co workers. They were very friendly to talk to. Many were eager to answer any questions that I may have about the process or the job itself
