Interview
I had applied online and contacted a manager at the store. He agreed to meet with me in-person.
(The manager I interviewed with is now at another location.) He was friendly and gave me a very good description of the store and the job requirements, and offered me the job they were seeking to fill.

Question 1
When could I start? What position was I interested in?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Michaels (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2015
Interview
It was very informal, had some small talk before to loosen the mood. Great experience. Questions were very laid back, but were definitely good questions to ask. Got to take a tour of the frame shop and really get a feel for the work environment before I took the job. My overall experience was a great one, Michael's was by far the best interview I had when applying for jobs.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Michaels (North Vancouver, BC)
Interview
Very easy. I don't think I was asked anything besides what arts or crafts I was interested in. The position was for framing and I seemed capable as far as helping customers and being responsible in general. The process began with the online test and took me around an hour to complete. Questions like "do you think stealing is wrong" or similar.
