I applied online. I interviewed at Mindera (Pittsburgh, PA) in Apr 2021
Interview
For a company that prides itself on treating its employees like 'humans', it certainly did not feel that was the case for their interviewees. The initial call was dry and I wasn't asked any questions, only the scope of the role was shared and a brief mention that if I wasn't a skill fit for this mid-level role, I would be considered for a Jr position. I completed the coding challenge, passing all test cases. I didn't hear back for 2 weeks, even after sending follow-up emails, only to be sent a very generic denial letter informing me they're moving ahead with more qualified candidates.
It's unfortunate because they genuinely seem like a great company once you're in, but based on this experience I question that.

The interview process it as unclear and not transparent. The interviewer did not have a script, which makes it uneven from candidate to candidate. The process was accelerated, without the need.
